As a part of last years NRC Charity Awards I was in a group, who were asked to create a print ad for Voedselbanken Nederlands, the Dutch foodbank.
The purpose of the advert was to present Voedselbanken as a charity, which not only provides food to those in need, but also as an organisation that fights food waste.
It was crucial to protect the identity and integreity of Voedselbankens clients, so we changed their way of communicating, i.e. food waste became food surplus.
My main focus was in concept, communication strategy and art direction. The campaign won the NRC Charity Award Jury Prize.
